The natural play ground: the rope swing
As if summer needed more inspiration.
Around this time of year when I was a teen running around Traverse City, there were two rope swings to note: one going across Kids Creek and one along the Boardman River downtown. We also frequented the Open Space launch pad and the train trestle, but sans rope. We survived. Mostly.
Are there any rope swings in the city proper anymore?
Have a weekend. Go find a rope swing.
