How’s Your Commute Treating You?
kirstendirksen ends her monologue on commuting with: “My commute is not without traffic and there are days that I’m not in the mood for walk, but it has never put me in a bad mood. And more often than not, it has pulled me out of one.”
We’d all be better off if we were more conscientious of our commutes and aware of the “Commuters Paradox.” Which is the idea that we often under-estimate the costs and pain, to ourself and society, when we choose where we want to live.
Perhaps a smart commute begins with where we choose to live.
