What is the RAT? It’s the annual Ride Around Torch Lake tour. Ouch…There are shorter rides, a 26 or 60 mile ride, but the century gets a lot of attention. As the Cherry Capital Cycling Club describes it, “The ride is a recreational, social tour that is neither a race nor a test of strength although the very hilly 100 mile route can be a challenge.“
Yeah, 100 miles of anything can be a challenge.
