Hell Yes! We’re sprinting to work
A Smart Commute breakfast pulled the MyWHaT team of myself and guest contributor Bill “No Spill” Palladino out of our home offices today.
We’re both self-employed, so part of our challenge this week is actually creating a commute other than the one from the bed, to the coffee machine and to the computer. Seeing 100′s of people biking to work is worth it.
For today’s fun, Dennis from Fixed Gear Gallery set up his Hell Yes sprinting rig at Higher Grounds. This is one way to really screw with someone’s morning. 250 meters of full-on! Bill and I both took a turn; he was captured on video.
Thank you to June Thaden for passing out 8th Street stickers…she’ll have more tomorrow at Oryana’s breakfast.
Going from inspiration to implementation
Monday’s Quote
Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. I never did anything worth doing by accident, nor did any of my inventions come by accident. They came by work.
~ Thomas Edison, the inventor
How to get from inspiration to implementation with intention and not burn-out doing it, that is what I’m thinking about.
To be avoided, simply spinning my wheels & going in circles. Although, this looks like fun.
