Years back I had to got to DOZENS of meetings in Benzie County –many with two little kids and those two little kids LOVED the meetings for one reason, SNACKS –little magic bags full of treats. Back in my suit wearing days we had a joke about good meetings –the only good ones were the ones with good snacks… score cards and snacks, perfect

Chris – that’s a great aspiration for any community. Let’s get to a point where we can have a banner at the front doors that reads “Traverse City – Our Meetings Don’t Suck!” You’re doing fine man!

Funny, but true Bill. Some degree of routine is necessary for meetings to work, but sometimes I think that meetings are made more boring to keep people from attending.

Awesome post, Bill! I couldn’t agree more! The scorecard is perfect – I’ll be taking extra copies with me to meetings I attend.
