8th Street Stickers are here!

We’re not getting bike lanes in 2010, but we can have stickers.

No details have been released about the 2010 8th Street project; it’s safe to say that improvements will be minor. Looking for a full update for next week.

For now, we need to encourage the use of 8th Street how the neighborhoods envision it: slower speeds, multiple uses, a street worth being in the center of the city.

Stickers are a small step, like a pace car campaign.

How to get your stickers

These are removable, weather resistant stickers that look great on a skateboard, trailer, stroller, bicycle, goat-cart or motor vehicle.

• If you donate $10.00, you get 8 stickers. (please, give them away..)
• Otherwise, $2 per sticker. (Now: also, 3 for $5)
• Feeling extra flush and generous?  Larger donations will not be turned away & I have as many stickers as you need.

Order via Paypal (include note) or send me an email with the subject “MyWHaT Sticker Donation” with your name and address to garylhowe@gmail.com. You can also get them at Higher Grounds Cafe (if you have a business and are able to offer counter space to help circulate these, please let me know). I’ll also be carrying them around, so if you see me, just ask.

Beer, cheese or Pastrami is as good as cash. 

This drive is to support the work of MyWHaT while promoting our intended use of 8th Street.
